Paddy Power paying out 8 places on The Open

Paddy Power paying out 8 places on The Open

There are some big names heading up The Open field at Royal Troon this week. Dustin Johnson after winning the US Open and the WGC Bridgestone Invitational back to back is right up there at 9/1 joint favourite alongside Jason Day. Day went close to The Open title last year, losing out in a three-man play off.

Rory McIlroy will be hoping to add to his Majors collection as he is one of the front runners as well, alongside Jordan Spieth who will need all of his short game class to put him in the picture. It is another big four days of golf for the season and with only two players going off in single figures, you have the chance at some big returns.

There are tempting prices in the outright market such as the 50/1 shot on Louis Oosthuizen and the 33/1 price on Big Phil Mickelson. The options are rich for The Open 2016 golf betting and Bookmaker Paddy Power have a great extra place special running on the game.

The bookmaker is paying out on the first EIGHT places on each way bets not only on the outright winner market but the Leader After Round 1 market as well. Payouts are at 1/5 odds.
